- For the next week, pay particular
attention to your tendency to avoid pain and unpleasantness by
planning for pleasurable, positive possibilities.
- Make a conscious effort to stay
present and experience both pleasure and pain.
- At the end of each day, reflect on
how a complete life contains joy and sorrow, opportunity and
limitation.
